Usual routine for convergence is: film sorties for your plane, write down distances at which you hit, make average, set your guns.

Convergence is individual. I usually have it set close for the most of my planes.

I have every gun in every plane at 300, except the Hurri I, Spit I and A6M2 which are 200.
