positive side to renewed flooding in NO
« on: September 24, 2005, 02:10:45 AM »
There have been repeated stories over the past weeks of the toxicity of the flood waters in New Orleans. The current flooding should rinse a good bit of the detris out of the area. With no one left to defecate in the water and most, I hope all, of the bodies removed, this could be a good thing.

One way to look at it at least.

That would work if you had a positive flow through the area. Unfortunately NO is at the low point so the stuff flows in, swirls a bit then settles. No rinsing. Woulda been a nice thought though.
