As promised -
One little bit left: fade underside dirt between two different texture places.
Oh and the other lower undercarriage door. (just noticed).

Kev on the post before this "done" post, the belly screenshot shows a black section on the middle under the port wing/port wheel door. What's that?

There are slight differences in layout between the Pony D and B.
Was a part that I missed, but is now fixed.

Nice skin,

I see you are experiencing the P-51 light reflection bug. Note the dark area to the rear of the radiator air intake on the bottom of the plane.  It's also visible under the nose, producing a discontinuity in color where the nose joins the gear area.  (I think this is a characteristic of the 3D model, which should be fixed).

BTW, it wouldn't hurt if you added a support comment at my bug report thread "P-51 light reflection bug" in the "AH2 Bug Reports" forum. http://www.hitechcreations.com/foru...hreadid=160215[

It's just you. If anything the P51B nose is a hair longer than the P51D nose (check the skin viewer, just arrow up and arrow down between the D and B).

I think that the dumpy look is mostly a function of the AH "fisheye lens" view from certain angles.  Perhaps the nose section is a bit too blunt; I don't know...  Overall, however, the new model is better looking than the old, which was too skinny-looking from the side.

I think the proportions are correct, that is to say that the proper dimensions were modeled in. I think the "dumpy look" comes from tbe squared-off surfaces on the model, such as the top of the tail, the bottom of the oil cooler, the bumpy curves of the nose. I think the nose is a bit plumper, but when they reduced the polys on the 3d model it lost some of its real look
