Any idea what the changes to the spit IX will be?

I believe that it will be the same Merlin 61 powered Spitfire F.Mk IX we have, but without the option for the .50 cals or rockets.  I am unsure about the 250lb bombs, but it may lose those too.

Here's this Spit fanatic's fantasy line up for AH in terms of Merlin 60 series Spits.

Spitfire FIX-Merlin 61 with the full span Universal wing of 2 20mm and 4 303s.  Option to carry 30,45, or 90 gallon drop tank. Early style rounded rudder.  Not tropicalized.  No bombs. Covers 1942-43 ETO-MTO

Spitfire LFVIII with Merlin 66. Full span Universal wing, with 2 20mm & 4 303 MGs.  Pointed tall rudder, short span ailerons.
Able to  carry a bomb on the centerline along with 30,45 or 90 gallon drop tank.  This covers 43-44 MTO and 43-45 CBI and Pacific with the RAAF.

Spitfire LFIXE/XVIE (same bird, different engine manufacturer.  Rolls Merlin 66 in the LFIXE, Packard Merlin 266 in the LFXVIE)  Clipped E wing with normal span ailerons.  2 20mm and 2 .5MGs.  Hard points on the centerline and both wings. Tall pointed rudder. Able to carry bombs on all three or rockets in place of bombs on the wings.  Also able to carry the 30, 45 or 90 gallon drop tank in place of a bomb on the centerline.  This covers 44-45 ETO/MTO

Hopefully we get all three, but if it's two I'd want the last two and if it's one, I'd change the wish to a full span LFIX with the Merlin 66.

I really hope it's at least the last two versions I listed.
