Got to thinking the method of using MS Flightsim across multiple PC's for "slave" monitors would be nice (imagine flying a B17 with 3 monitors).
Then I thought wouldn't it be great to be able to have LAN based gunners in a similar fashion. IE, person A acts as a LAN host, and communicates with HTC, persons B, C, D, and E all act as gunners for the same aircraft communicating with person A's PC as the host instead of the HTC server. Also throw in a 3rd VOX channel (LAN).
It would lower net comms overhead, and LAN gunners wouldn't lag out from the host plane.
Would be awsome for multicrewing tanks too.
If you get it working you could probably patent it
