Well my aims not really bad. But i find myself missing shots that should be very easy.


Any tips on aiming? :p

1. Turn tracers off.

2. Go offline, and practice on the drones until you can generally 'one-pass' them and attack them from different angles, not just the dead 6 oclock position.

3. If you are scoring hits without obvious kills, check your convergence... generally, I put my P38's cannon 50 ahead of the MG rounds. IMHO, the faster the plane, the closer the convergence as your rate of closure will be higher.

4. After a time, you'll notice the planes move in slow motion as you fire... focus as you shoot until this happens.

Well i have my head position set all the way back,and i do not zoom when sighting the target.Some call it ' No Scoping ".

You have the offline option of a lead sight by tweaking the Flight Model Flags in the arena setup of the clipboard. Certain aircraft benefit from "move up" which is defaulted to the Page Up key. Your view over the cowling will lift about 20% in the Typhoon, NiK2 and a few other birds. I have the move up view mapped to one of my joystick buttons. One lil trick, place your cursor on the center of the gunsite before engaging the move up and you'll have an aiming reference at your disposal.
