My Son was nominated to attend and will next Monday be attending the National Youth Forum on Defense, Intelligence
& Diplomacy in Washinton DC

Anyone here ever attended it or had their kids attend?
Couple people I know had their kids go and they really semed to like it.
Anyway I figure it will be a good experiance for him

Outstanding dred! I was nominated to go to that on the last day of school by SASI in ROTC. But i had alot to pay for that summer and the money just wasnt gunna happen for me to go. I did go to the national youth leadership conference in 2002. that was a good experience, made alot of friends from all over the country. Great fun. I was the head of our little mock UN.

hope he does well.

Stuff like that makes kids think their opinion matters, which is both inaccurate and undesireable.

They asked me to go when I was in school, but I declined...seemed like it'd be a waste of time.

I attended back when I was a junior in high school, so circa 1998. Its a good seminar - should fit in just fine.

No, I went to high school in Weston Connecticut. LG I moved to July 04.
