You may be happy to know that France arrested a cell of terrorist who was about to bomb the US ambassy in Paris. When the French stormed the place they found "burning documents" and explosives. Glas an another ambassy bombing was avoided, but you can be sure that more will be to come and will probably succeed.
In Toulouse, my home town in South West France, a chemical plant blew up. Situated at 2.1 miles of the center of the town. Damages extended to 4 miles and the explosion was felt up to 50 miles. so far only 50 people died on the 300 working at the plant. 1,500 people injured. Most shops and appartment complexs in the area are destroyed giving a taste of lower Manhattan. An Amoniac cloud is floating above the town but have yet claimed no death. Manipulation error or terrorist retaliation, no informations yet, they still try to dig people out.
I thought you guys may feel "better" to know that we were supporting the American effort against terrorisum and we were paying the consequences too (but Islamic terrorisum is not something new for us).

BTW. If it had crossed your mind that Americans might gloat about your country's problems.  It wont happen.  Its not our nature

They don't think this was a terrorist act do they?  Its not an uncommon occurance in environments where highly explosive components are used on a regular basis.  I know I think about it every day when I pull into the parking lot at work.

They don't know yet. But the security is very high in Paris. Rumor says that Terrorists are very interested by those sensible factories who populate SW of France. Economically and damagewise, it's a better target than the Eifel tower who's just plain steel. And it's also unguarded.  :p
