Not quite sure what you mean or who it was ment for Simaril.

As far as I am concerned people should be alowed to make requests as they want no matter if it is the 9 000 000 000 000 000 etc time the same request has been made. This is a BBS, it is ment to be a discussion board.

If you see a thread that doesn't suit you just ignore it, doesn't take that much self control so should be possible even for the weak minded people.

Sorry, Wilbus, I was unclear -- I was replying to the good sgt, who I thought was the subject of your post. I misunderstood, my mistake -- and I've edited to clarify.

I have been flying these online games since 1992... hardly a newb here. I want a B29 as well.  BTW if you dont have the fuel to climb to alt and catch a B29, try flying cap to intercept them.  I do that quite often over our HQ

Seriously -- how do you "quite often" stnad the excitement of flying cap? Most AH2 players would sooner actually do productive work than fly cap.

So, the issue still stands as a significant B29 problem.

If CAPs were unproductive, why were so many flown in WWII itself?

They are unproductive in this GAME. They were neccisary in WW2. Many ppl don't want to waste their money spending time bored outta their minds capping the virtual skies. Imagine spending an hour over your HQ/Base after a 30K climb only to find nothing is coming. It's how I want to spend my day off.

Yeah, but for some it's fun. It's all in how you play.

Thats true. I sometimes just park a Spitty next to the hangars in TA and watch the show. Can be quite amusing, too.

I love it, especially knowing someone horsed lancs up to 25 - 30K+, get almost within sight of the HQ and get killed... makes my sadistic little day.  BTW who are you to decide what is "Productive"? Games are supposed to be fun.... Geez I thought the BK slogan was "Have it your way"

I like flying cap, so do a number of others I often pass while over HQ.. Its just that many people dont want to play that type of defense... but even JU88s (enough of them, of course) will kill HQ if no one bothers to Cap.  Strategic defense is just another facet of the game, otherwise lets just do away with bombers and teams and call it the DA! LMAO

I garuntee you are 1 of the few that enjoy flying cap for 50k bombers. A huge majority want to spend there time fighting. Chasing after 320+mph B29s at 30k isn't really fighting. So should we punish the majority so a few can have what they want? If games are suppose to be fun, hows it gonna be fun for the majority when they have to chase these things around? BTW show me where I decided what was productive and what wasn't??? I stated caps don't work to well in this game.

Oh and nice BK comment, I never heard that 1 before. How long did that take you to think up? :aok I find it funny that if someone disagrees with you, you resort to rude remarks about a squad or a person.

PS: I'll make a concession. You can have your B29 if I get my N00kie!
