Never used it. Never trusted it. Don`t know.
Someone in the know tell me good points/bad points.

Best way to find *cough* free *cough* software. Takes a bit to learn the command lines, but once you do, it's the *****... or so I heard :)

IRC is a nice place to meet people around the world. I ended up marrying a foreign girl I met on IRC - we're still married with 2 kids.

It's also a dangerous place. It's the epicenter of hacking. OTOH you tend to learn a lot about security issues if you hang in the right places and know the right people.

It _was_ kind of fun to command a botnet. :D
