New Route to MA
« on: October 20, 2005, 09:46:36 PM »
Heya Skuzzy,

Am I screwed? Is this just traffic peaking during the evening? In late spring my ping to the MA was 213-220 on a bad night. Now, it's 290 on a good night. I'm hoping I'll at least have less lag and savvis issues, but it seems like I've gone from a good connection to the very fringe of being playable.

Any thoughts?

Remember it was day#1 on AT&T.
I always thought it was a consistancy thing more than a low thing, with of course both being ideal.
IMO a ping in the 230 that occasionally spiked is worse than a ping of 290 that stays relatively stable.
Of course with savvis I think using 'occasionally' was giving them the benefit of the doubt.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.
