Why not?  It was known to do it in reality.

You folks need to learn how to reduce your throttle  and slow yourself while in a dive.
I havent snapped my wons off in any fighter in over two years. And I dive in all kinds of AC. 190's 109' 110s 262s 152's you name it I
Havent had wings rip due to Gs either.
Had em blown off by ack or gunfire form other planes. But havent ripped em

ps does out 190F-8 have more armor than 190A-8? If yes it should not because the the only difference between the A-8 and the F-8 is the canopy, and weapon loadouts.

EDIT: i found that early batches of 190F-8 had armor but later removed to increase performance. DOes our 190F-8 have heavy armor or lite armore like all 190s?

If your referring to my augering lst night  going afte a low 24 I was flying with only 2/3ds of my right wing intact and got greedy going for "just one more kill" before I headed home.

If your not. I have no idea what your talking about.

I primarily use 262s to pork bases anyway LOL

Spitfire wings will snap off also when they reach high enough speeds and it 's not due to any flaw with the modeling.

Once of the fun things to do in a P-38 is trying to get a Spitfire that is dumb enough to follow you in a 500MPH+ dive and seeing them break off their wings.  I did that to Triumph and Growler1 a few weeks ago.  They bounced me from up high so I unloaded, hit WEP and dove straight to the deck.  When my plane started to buffet, I looked to my starboard side and saw Triumph go screaming past in his Spitfire minus the wings, followed shortly afterwards by Growler1 screaming past, also minus his wings.

i been flying 190F with fighter loadout lately and i notice it manuvers better than 190A-8 loaded with just 2x 20mm cannons.  Is this true or just my illusion?

I like it for JABO.

Rockets seem heavy and prone to hitting lower then the rox from allied birds.

Rockets also seem to do allot of damage.

Give me the F8 and I will hunt any GV that drives out from the trees the 500KG bomb and the 12 rockets are perfect for everything from buildings to tigers.

I like to come in drop on a panzer or tiger then if they aren't down or immobilized I will come back in and target them with 2-3 rockets at a time.

If you get rid of all your ordinance it can mix it up with the fighters as long as you stay fast and it can absorb a lot of fire, even cannon fire from LA7. As far as ripping wings off, I have been in a 500 mph dive with everything shaking and groaning and haven't ripped the wings off yet, didn't catch the AR234 but I did catch the 109 G10 as he was trying to gain height to get back in the fight.

Play to its stregths, which are as a ground attacker and you will frustrate the M16 gunners no end when they light you up and you fly away to return and kill them:D

I would say it carries fairly heavy armour based on the amount of fire I have taken when in the GA mode and then when some spit or 51 jumps my six, I have been PM'd that I must be cheating , because they fired half thier ammo loadout and I was still in the air.

It works best when you are part of a group attacking or defending, since you can concentrate on the ground attack aspect, instead of having to jettison your ordinance and trying to get height and speed.

Going to concentrate on using it more often, since I like the Ground attack mode with a little air to air and some buff hunting.

As an airfirld suppresion attack aircraft, I think it's tops. Two of them can easily kill the VH and Radar, deack without taking damage, clean up any GVs that get out and vulch until the cows come home or the town is down and troops are there. However, if your a Knight, my bet is the cows come home first ;)
