Originally posted by mussie Not to hijack here but on the subject of how equipment can affect game play I just got an X45 and it rocks, except for one thing The cup and disc (under the spring at the base of the stick) binds when you try to make a small adjustment, this means that when you apply enough pressure to break the bind you move further than you wanted. The cause is the spring pressure and some people suggested using some sort of lube on the ring (Insert Bad Joke Here)But someone else said they used some zip ties to partially compress the spring. I tried this and it worked great. Now my point is that if I was flying with the unmodified stick I would not be able to make those small adjustments that are needed for long range shots. But with the modified stick I can make precise and accurate changes to my flight path when needed.
