Yeah, I can't wait either, wastel.  When you see a bunch of red-nosed 37mm LaGG-3s, it won't be Rudolph and the gang

As far as I know the multiplay setups are 32 player dueling style arena (no missions, just flying planes), 16 player coop historical missions('coop' meaning human-AI cooperation.  Think EAW only with more depth) setup.  However, there is talk of a MMP version of Il-2 that may be in the works.
