was thinking about you, glad you posted.  I knew pompano got whacked.  not a thing happened at my house but some of my neighbor's homes got wiped out.  no loss of life in here even after the storm but there are powerlines down all over the place.  we are loving life on 20kw of self generated power.  we finished the installation Sunday afternoon, just in the nick of time.  we may be without power here for a month.

lol Storch I was at Pompano Airpark today  its gone our hangar and 1 more still up, a few rows of brand new not a scratch as code muc tighter now.  Most have doors blown 100 yards away others are just piles, talked to FBO guys and on the computer there they recorded a 151 mph gust (after that instruments blew away) with 128 sustained so was alot more power than we 1st thought. Spent the day picking up roof from front yard.

this place lower right is gone, its a 2 story pile of boats

OK heres a few from around the house more to come

normal night on lake

Dred, my father lives in Port St (Lucy what have yo done now) as well.  After living there for 7 years, has decided to move to North Carolina and retire.  Great weather as he says, but if you like rebuilding/painting/finding your neighbors car in your front yard fun then this is the place for ya!

OK here, power back after 30 hours out, so not to bad, nice to have genny keeping the food cold.  We had sustaned winds of only 100 with gusts to 118.

After last year with two storm hitting three weeks apart everything that was weak was gone.  Not to bad this go around never lost water this time and cable is back (hope the rest of the world enjoyed the series,we saw nothing :cry )

We are starting to get worn out with these things,  with like 8 hits in the last 14 months (counting T-storms) this 20 year cycle thing is going to be rough.

How is living in Utah these days ?
