VOX question
« on: October 31, 2005, 04:03:20 PM »
I was lured into tuning my Channel 5 - the VOX channel, I guess - to a numbered station so as to be able to talk privately.  Now I can't tune it back to the F12 setting, even though that's what my stick mapping is set at.  What's the right dot command?

Thanks!

eeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrmmm...

f12 and the t channel are seperate. the v box is the channel that you operate using the t key. f12 range vox is seperate. it will work no matter what station your v box is tuned to. to talk over range, just use f12, not t

Poo is correct.

and... to change the voice ( T keyed) channel you can select that radio (the little V button) and type in a number, select one of the options in the pulldown menu (I set mine to SQUAD) or type in the chat bar .radio 5 to tune it.
