Looks like the driver didn't want to drive over the motorcycle, stopped turning to right and apparently didn't think about turning left to avoid collision with a solid object.

As I recall, the
Le Car
was a variant of Renault 5.
I don't like French cars very much, but the Peugeot 407 looks neat.

It's still FWD.
Will they ever get a clue?

Indeed. FWD was a much vaunted system in the 60s with the Mini, and then the Austin 1100 - like this POS...
My current Golf is FWD, and it sucks (the FWD only part). Can't wait to get my Audi A3 quattro next month!

The R32 wasn't as good?
Not sure if they still make them, but the one I sat in seemed about as good as the A3.
The engine was easy to improve, ECU and exhaust replacement gave almost 300whp, single turbo did it easily.
-they still make it:

R32 @ 40k$ in the UK, and R36 with 300hp sometime later and cheaper in the US. Sounds fun..

Well, I think that the Motorcycle driver pulled a patented "Levi Barrel Roll" and the cop Overshot right into the ground.
Standard move, the cop must have been a N00b.
