bear in mind fish that shot was with you undermoddled WW2 crap
just kidding,  Im was just saying its not like most other games where you can take a howitzer in the face and not lost a beat.  SWAT3 is kinda crappy, its all eyecandy and feels so ridgid, its like you dont really hav control, it doesent feel fluid like rogue spear, swat3 is by far the most annoying 3d-shooter i have played.  From the way the charactors act to the blocky movements you have, it just has really uncomfortable game play.
There  is a newer game out called "Project IGI"  I love it its kinda like rogue spear accept you can see your weapons as you hold them, but also its hard to hit things while running and other realistic features, like you can shoot through wooden walls and other stuff like that.  the demo is out and anybody that likes RS or SQUAT3 should give it a look.

I tried the Clancy demo and didn't like it. I am not interested in trying to "program" the squad actions on the mission. I just want to get in there and start playing. That is why I was asking about Rogue Spear.

Rogue Spear is basically Rainbow Six 2.

Lots of new features though... but still same basic game.

As for programming.. you don't have to ... just put them on your team... they will stick with you.  Of course you can only have 4 on your team.  But... you have to sacrifice something if you just want to get in and play.

Also, the on-line play may suit your needs more too.  Groups of people that are interested in the same basic thing... playing.  You can find deathmatch, team-deathmatch or co-op play.... at any level you are confortable with.

Phew.. DF series multiplay engine sucks really..
If guy is moving, you can only guess where you have to shoot to kill him, because hit on that visible target is more counted as a miss. (hits happens in the receiving FE, not in yours  )
People might have less or more lag and you can't even think how far ahead that bullet must fly to actually hit the guy and not that lagging drone

I dont like having to program my AI backup gonna die iidiots either, i usually go in solo, If you have a cable connection or even DSL RS can be a riot online, especally when you play terrorist hunt where you and anywhere from 1 to 7 more people try to clean the map of tangos.  I have seen people that totally hate all the 3d shooters out ther fall in love with RS, it is a sequal rainbow six but thats where it ends, RS has better AI better movements, better graphics, better weapons, cooler looking terrains.  Pluse RS is pretty much open source so that you can goof with almost ANYTHING in the game from ammo amounts to the skins and languages the tangos speak.

Ummm.. wobble?

You seem to have free confused with "entitled".  People are not obligated to make a mod for you.  They are using all that time you spend playing the games to actually work on them.  That is a service that shouldn't be taken as lightly as you seem to be doing.
