Selector, are there going to be any DD strips for the Mk16 or any other Mk for that matter, I know DD was before the time of the plane, but did they still use them after the invation ?

Don't think any XVI would have D-Day stripes, it was some time after D-Day XVI's became operational.

But you'll still see them on V, IX.

OK Dan, 2 changes -
a) The wing panels as decided from other thread.
b) Underside nose panel.

If your happy with the chipping this view, I'll do the other side.

Where Kazaa? Don't think you'd see one. Might be a Spitfire LFIXe misidentified as an XVI

I'm talking about a wartime one, not a restored bird btw

I was kinda thinking the wing root weathering was a bit extreme, but then went hunting for photos to support that and found most of the wartime photos showed it just like you did it
