its a good idea. make bombing only available through the f6 view on those planes that have it (apart from a20's and ju88's)

I think the B26 should also be exempted since it is a ground attacker type aircraft, why else put a bunch of fixed 50 cals in nose of the plane?

Same idea as the A20

Or perk the formation flying...

1 bomber free

3 bombers a nominal perk

maybe the skimmer and dive bomber of heavies crowd would hesitate before expending a few perks or run out rather quickly.

Yeah, the main ones up for discussion are the hvy bombers.

Nominal perking for formations sounds interesting to me. I was away from the game when they put formations in; I assume it was to help get more bombers into the game? If you're a buffer, you should have more than enough points for nominal perks on formations. I kinda like it.

oh and now that I've read through that thread on the General board I agree with only being able to bomb through the bombsite on the historical level heavy bombers.
