More of a cosmetic error -
Should probably be modelled with a single large bulge covering both cannon bays, as opposed to the small slimline bulge currently modelled.
1942 birds would likely have the single large blister carried over from the Mk Vb's.
Wasn't until much later the revised 'slimline' bulge for the single installed 20mm was used.
