Haven't seen this one yet.  But I don't go to many movies.  I usually wait until they come out on disc, or tape, or play on Sat.

Anyways this guy has an opinion of the film.

It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

The film has not one character or scene with any redeeming virtue or value. It is an excessively vulgar movie without a moral or a point. With our nation at war -- this film is not just antiwar -- or rotten to the Corps -- though it is certainly that. "Jarhead" is anti-everything good and decent.

dmn that's a bit harsh... though i have not seen the movie yet.

Well, it DOES have Jamie Foxx, so I can see how this might be the case.

$10 says that ol' Ollie was so incensed about the movie that he refused to go see it on principle.  That didn't stop him from foaming at the mouth about it of course.
