The aircraft in mention Krusty is Hans "Assi" Hahn's personal aircraft. He was the Staffelkapitan of 4 Staffel/JG 2during the early stages of the BOB.

I have Black and white photo's of the plane but no scanner. All of JG/2's aircraft were had the cockerell painted on the fuelselage,be it a cockerell head or a huge red head covering the engine loovers and part of the fuelselage.

EDIT 2: You mean the Fw 190A-3 he flew? Hrm... we used to have it before the FW was upgraded, but it was a bit of a stretch for the A5 model.

I dont see why the A-5 cannot just represent all the A models due too limited plane set.

If you do decide too make it,what about 2 weeks till it's done?

The thing about the A3 and the A5 is that they are different enough that we might someday get the A3. It was the first production unit that saw combat if I recall. There was a similar A5 skin done for Egon Meyer that had a similar paint scheme and the same rooster head (same squadron) but was for a later plane. It was done by Kweassa... Maybe we can get him to remake it? *cough*ComeOnKweassa!*cough*

If he were interested I could supply him with my 190a5 template *hint*hint*

EDIT: my bad, he already re-made it! Check out III/JG2 in-game.

6.Staffel/JG26 was the test unit for the 190-A-1 that rolled from the factory at Marienburg July 1941.By September the entire II./JG26 had been re-equipped.On 26 September the first dogfight between a superior force of spit's and 4 190's from the 6.staffel./JG26 took place. It ended with 3 downed spit's and no downed 190's.JG/2 "Richthofen" was the 2nd squad to re-equip with the 190 in the spring of 1942.

I took that exceprt from Focke Wulf 190 "The birth of the Butcherbird":by Morten Jennsen. It's a series of imformative books on Luftwaffe of WW2 with rare photo's and some color photo's as well.

True, but the A3 was the first one produced in any real numbers. The A1 was being tested (tested in combat) but it was still just being tested. The A3 was the first major variant that saw widespread distribution, is more of what I was thinking.

EDIT: Oh and I think I'm done with Kennel's A8. I think I'm going to submit it.
