Wagering In The D A
« on: December 21, 2005, 06:44:42 PM »
There was a thread in the AH general forum that suggested dueling for monthly subscriptions.  While that may be a little extreme, I thought that maybe wagering perk points in the DA might add a little extra excitement to the game.  It might also quiet the challenges that are flying all over 200 24/7.  While it does have the potential to add more controversy (he's a cable puller and he cheated), just make it up front and final:  If you wager 10, 20 50, 100, 1000 perks in a duel and you die, you lose the perks.

I personally stay away from the DA because I'm a lousy stick, but I can see where some of the real show-offs in the game might find this very appealing.

So what do you think?

this is a good idea. a way for good pilots down on their luck to regain some perkies after losing a 262 in a freak "sheep on runway" accident.

Does anyone who has been playing for more than 3 months not have enough perks to burn?  Just a question....

I do like the idea, and maybe add a tracking page on the score sheet :D
