Target dot command gun error
« on: November 25, 2005, 03:52:21 PM »
Hi All,

I decided to check out the target .xxx command last night to see on some aiming situations.

I was in a Spitfire Mk XVI with convergence set to 400 for 50s and Cannons.

To my surprise when the target came up it was offset to the right.

I ensured my head position was 100% dead center...much to my surprise the target was always right of the center.

My bullets however, hit dead center of where the reticle (gunsight) was aimed at!!!!  So even the bullets were showing to the left of where the target center was, indicating the target was to the right.

Any thoughts????

Mike

I beleave the target is due north at all times. You must align yourself with it.
