The Battlefield Trust is holding a Battle of Britain Study day on 16 September 2000 from 10.00 to 16.30 at the RAF Museum Hendon. There will be speakers from the RAF Historical Society, The Air Historical Branch of the Ministry of Defence and members of the Battle of Britain Fighter pilots Association. The cost is £20.00 ( £15.00 for Battlefield Trust members).
This should be a fascinating opportunity to hear the modern view of the Battle of Britain as well as to hear and meet veterans.The Battlefield Trust have a track record of running fascinating historical study days and attracting interesting speakers and an eclectic membership of professional and amateur historians, re enactors, military and wargamers.
