DLPs don't actually have a response time. Don't ask me how it works but its is called wobulation. I have not seen any motion artifacts or ghosting yet in movies or Aces High. There are also no worries about screen burn-in as occurs with plasma. These sets don't suffer from SDE (screen door effect) as my LCD RPTV does. I sit 8 feet from it but can't see it at 1 foot either. So far, no RBE (rainbows).
The only problem with AH is losing some vertical real estate with a widescreen resolution such as in the above picture. In that shot I had modified the video cong file to 1920x1080 and there is no stretching but I lose a little sky and the lower part of the panel. Notice the ammo counter and bottom instrument row are cut off. Not so with the same head position and a 4:3 res. I am running AH @ 1280x1024 for gameplay and usually stretch to fit. My desktop res is 1920x1080 progressive.
