Well for the past 2 or 3 months my right thumb has been messed up. Doctor thought there was a ganglean cyst in there that needed to be cut out, at the base of the thumb about 1/2 up from the wrist on the palm side. Had the MRI saturday got the results today.
No surgery required
BUT! they did stick a freaking
VERY HUMONGOUSLY LARGE needle about 1 1/2" into my hand for about 30 seconds to insert the gell from hell steriod tendon repair ointment. It freakin hurts man, but not as bad as the surgery would have. I had that done on my left hand about 10 yrs ago, very painful.
They thought it was from bowling, but it turns out after the doc and I talked for a while that it's more likely caused from years of using my thumb to fire my cannons
So let me officialy be the first to claim bodily injury from our little hobby.
