GREAT series.:aok :aok

Loved it.
One of those rare shows that I cant wait for next season (HBO picked it up for another year) It was/is the only reason I still have HBO which is otherwise useless

Each charactor played brilliantly

Last weeks episode was the most intence and best so far.

nothing like seeing someone beheaded by a sheild to get ones blood flowing LOL

It comes on in a little bit for us west coasters.  This is one of those shows that I picked up in the middle but have caught up with all the re-runs.

I just hope it isn't like Sopranos in wich we have to wait 16 months for a lackluster season.

Other HBO shows:

Carnival:  I started watching this but lost intrest
Deadwood:  Same as the above
Sopranos:  I got the whole set
Entorage:  Yup I watch it, it's prett funny for a 30 min show

I watched the first 4 or 5 episodes and lost interest.

My fav HBO Sunday shows:

4. Carnivale (was getting slow, but picked up last season)
3. Sopranos (tired of the reruns)
2. Entorage (excellent writing)
and No. 1...

Deadwood (greatness)
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

It was OK, I didn't think they were going to do IT so soon (Don't want spoilers) but then it hit me and I used the Tivo to confirm this.

The epp WICH WAS THE FINALE was SHORT!!!!! WTF????

it was less than 48 minutes long in an hour long time slot.

Would have like to have seen that show but I didn't want to spring for HBO to get added to my DirecTV package. Maybe they will toss it out on DVD in a few months like they do everything else these days. Then I can burn through it in a few nights.

Romes a great series.

You get your
ambiguous sex scene,
ambigious incest scene,
ambigious mandingo scene,
ambigious lezbo scene
and over the top brutality all in one.

Kinda feels like I'm watching an episode of the orginal Star Trek, Spock going back in time becoming Caesar. That actors demeanor and hair cut have a striking resemblance to the Vulcan characters.
