Why I dont think the Spit XVI should be perked

'On a side not, what in the hell does living within two miles of an airport have to do with anything....' - cav

when the 3rd busiest airport in the UK is a small aerodrome single tarmac strip that flies gliders, light a/c, choppers. we get RAF traffic from Strike command 3 miles the other way and occasionally the odd vintage war plane flying around my house like the battle of britain spitfire and hurricanes if they stop in at Booker aerodrome, who boast the 3rd highest rate of take offs and landings in the uk.

if you we're not playing silly games i would explain the relevance of what i posted in detail, but you are infact, playing a silly game, hence my previous and less cordial relpy above.
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

You may be right, that is the only reason they perked the C Hog.  It isn't that good, but people liked to fly it.

In todays' arena, a C Hog is just another target.  A perked target, but a target none the less.

It would be unfortunate to see the Spit16 perked, but there are other rides.

Such as the much under utilized LA7 :p

IIRC, it was perked before it was nerfed.

The VIII would be next on the perk whine list, once people realise -
1) Same motor as the XVI
2) Slightly faster
3) Turns better
4) Once equal fuel, climbs slightly better than XVI

I believe the C-Hog also had a good K/D ratio, something the XVI doesn't.

Then what?
Back to a 1942 spit IX.
