Anyone seen this?

I was surprisingly entertained by this movie.

I have a question about it...but don't want to spoil the movie.  If you have seen it let me know in this thread.  If not...AVERT YOUR EYES FROM THIS THREAD!

Question for you then...

Look away...spoiler below:

The two slaves obviously transferred themselves into the children of the owner just prior to the lynching.  Was the old lady in the film who hired the caregiver the daughter then?  Or was there another body in the interim for her?

Spoiler answer below....

Yes she was the daughter with the slave woman possessing her body, and the brother was the man with the stroke symptoms. stroke symptoms being the aftermath of the transfer to the lawyers body.

doesn't the old lady talk about getting the house from the former owners children? I think she was the second body if not the third... remember at the end she says she was hoping for a black girl this time... suggesting that they have done this a few times.

Ya who knows, when they hung them I then realized the "i talk to dead people ending"   , just didn't see the lawyer as the man till it was revealed.

Exactly why I asked the question.

Pretty bizarre twist when you realise that those people lynched and burned their own kids to death.

She talked about them cause she was them, she controlled the whole deal and hid her identity.
