I am new to aces high, I've been playin for 2.5 weeks. I've never played any flight games before I only decided to try because I had this old sidewinder 2 joystick lying around which I won in some competition. I had no clue on how to fly but today I .. err probably still don't have much of a clue HEHE. Scores page says I've played for 85 hours in these 2.5 weeks which probably means that I'm addicted. yikes.

My ingame handle is RumbleB and I'm in the UK+ "The Few" squad.

Your best bet is to go to the training arena. Theres some people there that all they do is help out new users on learning how to fly, takeoff, land, etc

Actually I figured all of that out by now, 300 kills soon wee. Just not very good at 1v1 1v2 etc yet. I've been to the training arena and duel arenas though.

hi rumble. it was great flying with you the other day, you aren't a half bad pilot. i don't believe this is your first sim, but that isnt important. its nice to have someone new, so welcome .

BTW, if you don't want to get addicted, quit while you can. after 4 weeks you get withdrawal symptoms :(

i actually couldn't give up now if i wanted, and im actually not joking. i wonder whether there's an AH rehab centre:( im at the point now that pretty much everything i see reminds me of planes or AH LOL:lol iv'e also had a few dreams about pwning everyone in the MA and landing 100 kills in a sortie lol :D

It is okay, 70% of the arena can't handle 1v1s, much less 1v2s.

Trick is, don't be afraid to get shot down and take chances because your skills will improve more quickly.

First learn how to stay alive. Once you learn how to go into a fight and come out of it without someone on your six, you can work on aiming and combat maneuvers. That doesn't mean fly conservatively, just fly with your eyes open and your brain going top speed.
