The blades are forged. If not then someone did something to the metal to make it appear forged. You can see the swirl marks in the metal, looks just like some others I've seen that ARE authentic. The first one has brass accents and the guard is very worn on one side, right where the fingers of the right hand would rub against it. The brass is heavy and fairly old looking, but it cleans up nicely enough.
The silver one, the blade also looks forged, but the rest looks too new to be that old. The wood of the handle, under the wrapping, is new and fresh looking, and the silver isnt worn anywhere or tarnished. Also, the brass accented sword has much more of a curve to the blade, whereas the one with silver accents is almost straight. Not sure if that makes a difference.
