Troops that can defend?

Just a thought... but how about friendly troops that can help defend a town?  Not for very long mind you... lets say 15 mins like vehicle supplies.

To make it playable, they could run to set points in a town and hold them for a set amount of time.  That way they could be taken out pretty easily... but would still offer some defence.

I dunno, just a thought.

No.  It's much easier for the defending team to run troops out then it is for the attacking team.

Basically, you'd be making it near impossible to capture a base.

I think it would be cool, and if the troops are dead at that field you couldn't run out defending troops. But, if someone flew them in and dropped paratroopers they could hit the ground and defend. I think it would make re-supplying much more important, and make it more of a challenge to capture a base
