For crying out loud!!! It was down to 28 degrees the other night. The daytime temp barely got to 57!!! It made riding the motorcycle a bit chilly with just an unlined Levi coat! BBBBRRRRRR!!!! Fortunately today it's back up to 65. It's been over 46 days since any precip in Tucson.

It was 86 in dallas this weekend.

I have no idea why they call it a "winter storm" we had very little ice and almost no snow.

Well it was cold anyhow.

I have ex-in-laws that live in Rowlett.  I remember having to drive a rediculous distance to get beer.

I was actually thinking that a small plane from South America was forced to drop its "cargo" over Dallas.  Easy to mistake the white substance when you never get real "snow".

My feelings exactly.

I come across people when they say its gonna snow who moan and groan about it and I tell em "If you dont like snow what the hell you living in the northeast for?

Did you get any Bear?
From the latest reports I've heard something like a couple hundred have been taken so far.
And a couple dozen protestors arrested:aok

Myself personally would probably end up shooting  one of the protestors.
Then saying "oops, thought he was a bear"

We're supposed to get 6-8 inches of snow here.

But the problem is that I am at a walking campus.  So pretty much unless it is impossible or dangerous to walk to classes (at most 15 minute walk in clear weather), classes won't be canceled.

You folks in Texas have no idea what a winter storm is. Come to Colorado. How much snow do you guys have that they are canceling school for? a foot is a delayed start and 2 feet is canceled. Cheaters.

You folks in Colorado have no idea what a winter storm in Texas is like. The schools arent closed for the snow they are closed for the sheet of ice covering everything.

Ahhhhh, don`t break out the crying towel just yet for us. Had about 3 gallons of venison chili simmering when the ice hit along with a bottle of JD #7 and a stack of DVDs. Life is good. :)

I wasn't hunting myself this year.  Went out with some friends who were though (I was there for comedy relief and to take some pictures).  Followed some tracks but didn't get anything - ironic as every other time I've been up in NW Jersey I've seen at least one.  Personally, I think my friends make too much noise while moving and tracking (but that is just my opinion).  Last I heard somewhere over 170 were bagged.

We got that storm up here yesterday, got stuck on 128 for 2 hours. We had big time thunder snow. Not just the random flash and rumble of thunder, it was like being in a thunder storm, constant flashes and booms, got 5 inches of snow in an hour and a half.
