Nice to see 4 Mossies in formation even though the models were totally inaccurate.  Be good to see the Dambusters again now!   :)

Yeah, could see that they were models 80% of the time...(especially the 109 scene) I stoped watching when I came to the scene with the blond bird... <yaaaaawn>  ;)

Wasn't that guy playing the staring role in some kind of 007 series or something simillar ?

Hi Saw

The guy in the staring role used to be in 'The Man from UNCLE' which I guess could be described as a TV version of 007   ;)

As for the Mosquitos being inaccurate, I meant the actual real aircraft!   :)  They were bomber versions with the transparent nose painted over and 4 x .303s inserted in there too.  I think they were trying to make them look like the Fighter Bomber version I guess, minus the 20mm hispanos.

Yeah, shame they don't have a mossie flying over here anymore. I used to love seeing that plane fly as a kid. Are there any still flying in the world?

BTW, has anyone seen the Beaufighter Duxford are rebuilding to airworthy condition? That's something to look forward to.  :)

Yeah, I saw it Dowding and was very impressed!  I probably spent more time looking at the Beaufighter in pieces than any other aircraft there!  I was also lucky enough to see the Beaufighter that they have got at East Fortune (east of Edinburgh) in Scotland though that particular example needs A LOT of work doing to it.
