Mystery's Sorties
« on: December 09, 2005, 12:54:12 PM »
A few days ago, early in Tour 71 when I'd only flown 2 fighter sorties that I know of,  my score page showed a 3rd sortie and death that I absolutely do not remember making. (No, I don't mean the +1 sortie used for math purposes, ) this was counted in the total fighter sorties.

OK, no big deal; I put it down as I was probably flying in the beer-o-sphere.  Musta just forgot it in the haze.

Today my score shows an 8 minute vehicle sortie that I am positive I did not make. I rarely do gv's; when and if I do a gv sortie, it's something especially dweebish and memorable. I would know if I did a gv sortie.

So is someone using my account? Unlikely, seems that would be more abused than a couple sorties.

That leaves one of two options: either it's a bug, or I'm in serious need of medical attention.

I know it's asking a lot, but could HTC's logs tell me when this vehicle sortie occurred?  It's not as though I'm worried about my score, more like I'm concerned about my mental health. (Haha, yeah, go ahead.)

Anyone else getting these sorties flown by aliens?

regards, Airman T. E. Shaw

How are field gun sorties counted?  Are they counted under GVs?

i could be wrong as score isn't really my thing, but i think you get an "extra death" so that you can calculate your score.  for example, we all know computers are stupid, and thusly it might have a hard time telling you what your kill per death rate is if you have 3,000,000 kills and 0 deaths.  well 3,000,000/0= 0.  not sure, but just my guess.

this is my hypothesis, but as i said before i have no idea
