ADM dual core
« on: May 09, 2006, 05:14:21 PM »
Just bought a new pc with a ADM Athlon 64x2 duel core processor 3800. Sometimes I can get into the game , but then it locks up. Called Skuzzy & talked to him about the problem. I've tried the fix he posted . If by chance I get lucky and get in the game as soon as i alt tap out to pull up the tast manager to shut down 1 of the cores the game frezzes up. I hope MS comes up with a fix for this soon.:( :cry

Don't forget to check to make sure you don't run into that Power Management slowdown problem also.

I didn't know it was an option.  Windows 2K would be better though.

Probably getting an AMD processor instead of that rip off ADM one would fix your problem.
