It can kill if you are accurate. In general it isn't very useful though.

The Mossie had the external view when it first came out as it was in the "Bomber" category and flew out of the Bomber Hangars.  It was silly though as the Mossie we have is a fighter-bomber.  It was often used in the air-to-air role, though most often at night.  The performance combined with the nose mounted firepower made the Mossie a fighter coming out of the bomber hangar in AH.

The flaps themselves are like growing a couple P-51 wings, much less the rest of the wing area.

The point of my post being, from all the data I've EVER seen on the 110, it SHOULDN'T be able to do that. I've even had one in a DIVING TAIL-CHASE do a perfect pure-yaw 180 and climb back up on me.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

  the IL2 is not overmodeled,was slow, heavy cuz of armour but good turn rate
In game has the huge advantaje of outside view,+ one of the best cannons
