(I didn't join AW until its AOHell days)

Interesting that you guys all had tail numbers.  Sounds pretty cool, actually.  Why were tail numbers dropped?

My recollection is that, in the GEnie days, the system assigned you a tail number, and you picked a handle.  Your handle would be shown in the score sheets, but only the tail number was shown in the front end while you were flying.  Later, when the front end was enhanced to show people's handles instead of being limited just to a number, Kesmai dropped the tail numbers.

The tough part is when you get your headphone cable tangled up with your colostomy bag.

'colostomy bag' ..

Yanno ..I had a patient who wanted a 'designer' colostomy bag to match her dresses, instead of having to put up with the embarrasing moments that can happen when sphincter control becomes an issue.

I had to step out .. not nice to be the Nurse who laughs at her patients.
(almost to tears ..it was just too funny for the moment.. she had coughed and .. er ..well .. I had to clean all the way up to her armpits ok?)
