Kinda new to AH ..however, the few different types I have tried so far kinda divide up into:

Fun: 109F-4 and P-51b

That about covers it 8D

I would have more all-round success with spit or something, but this plane is why I havent quit the game, when I fly it, I have FUN:aok

Also for fun even though I rarley land kills:  A6m2 for trapping some fool into a turn-fight.

I like the ones with the wings and big, loud burning things with blades strapped to them on the front. My stats won't show it this tour but usually I like anything that's considered an underdog although any ride becomes an underdog while I'm in control :)

I don't do much but go look for fights in a fighter. Here lately I've had quite a bit of fun in the Ki61 . I've also had a surprising amount of success in it. I don't think people know what to expect when they engage one and that helps my survival rate. That said, It seems to be a nice little ride.

Primary plane: P47-D40, D25, D11. I'd like to say it's for the challenge to myself trying to hold my own in the low dogfights with it,  but I find still myself climbing back up for an altitude reset & look see after a kill or two :)

P51D. Long range pork jabo runs, to get home. And easy kill runs when I get frustrated.

F4U1-D. Attack runs from CVs.

P47-N. High alt buff hunter.

F4U1-C. Low CV defense against buffs.

F4U-4. Pure fun.

Spitfire MkIX.  Base Defense.

F6F-5. GV bombing at home base.
