And I to answer your question ---
In the TA I'm pretty sure the stall limiter is always OFF regardless of your individual settings.
Nuke, about the limiter.....
I am not a gifted, natural pilot by any means. I don't have instinctual deflection ability, I have to work to get ACM concepts, and I'm not fluid in my movements.
I have to work for everything I get.
I had stall limiter on for the first 1.5 years I played. I now regret every minute of it, because it got me in the habit of heavy handed overcontrolling. After turning it off, I flopped, stalled and augered repeatedly -- for a week or so. I gradually learned CONTROL instead of yanking.
Ever since, I find my ACM is better, my energy mangement is better, my ability to set up is better, and my ability to outturn is better. I am precise in movement because I cant rely on the gamey "limiter" to make up for my poor precision.
If you "flip over on your back" all the time with SL off, you'r ebeing hamhanded. Get used to having it off, and you WILL be an even better pilot than you already are, adn far better tahn I will probably ever be.
Go for it -- you wont regret it.
