Tank, Rocket, etc... explosions
« on: December 27, 2005, 09:38:31 PM »
Wouldn't it be great if we could have dirt explosions like this, when a rocket or tank round hits the dirt. Im tired of having a hard time seeing my rounds hit the dirt and seeing that bullet dirt flying up when the round hits doenst look real or make it cool looking. HTC could it be possible for the next patch to make dirt explosions like this?

Now this would be awsome to see when you shoot and miss, and seeing this flying up all around you.

My concern is the effect on frame rate.

I can see it making a big difference in FR.  Clouds take a toll in FR as well as seeing smoke all over the place by tanks.

No more FR hit than a water splash...............

The clever bit would be to actually hear the earth clods hitting the outside of your vehicle...........
