I still dont understand whats wrong with that. Somebody want to know whats orgasm at that age so they go for it... others wants to know hows hashish, gandza and so on, so they go for it.

He wanted to know hows it to live in place like current Iraq, so he went for it.

Let him enjoy his freedom and try to recall what were you dreaming about at his age :)

Thats funny how some adults (dont take it personaly) belive that their children MUST live at least same sort of life as they do. I would call that "applied family communism" :D

My kids are MY responsibility until they are 18.  I'll be damned if they're going to leave the country without my permission.

Ehh, I'm not that much of an adult. 25 with no kids. I geuss it's because I'd have no chance of blending in, making it exceedingly dangerous for me, I tend to view a trip to Iraq as alittle intense for my tastes. I've been shot at & caught in a crossfire. It sucked. Only been hit once, back when I was a stupid kid with stupid friends. Thank god it was salt rock. I didn't like that either. To each their own though, it sounds like he got along just fine there, and that's pretty cool. Thanks for the flashback, at his age it was getting a car, getting a tech support job, and alot of traveling to paintball events for my kicks. :)

the pine crest school is for the offspring of the affluent.  this kid's parents are no chumps.  some of the very affluent people that we work for have demanding careers and may be gone from their homes for extended periods of time.  their children are attended to by domestic staff.  it is quite possible that neither parent was even in town when the kid decided to go on this adventure.  and lest we forget all teenagers are immortal.

It's all disposable when you're 16.  Heck...in high school just having money in my pocket I was feeling pretty good.  When I was making $6/hr squirting off golf carts with a hose (and creating my own elaborate title) I was living the high life :)
