what ever happened to being able to drive back to your spawn point and get a succesfull landing..is it not enabled anymore..?? i have tried on three different maps and always get a ditch...just curious....GVers????

hummmm thinking of it I have spawned and decided I did'nt want to be there, did not move 1" and towered ,,, got a ditch....   not sure what map or maps it was on.

you must be at least 6K from an enemy to land a GV at a spawn. Any enemy land or air...

Yes being far enough from all nmy contacts air or gv is key. I have even driven my tiger over a sector back to base just to be on the safe side.

heck I drove 3 sectors with an m3 once took me about 3 hours, how long did it take to drive a tiger an entire sector?

landed succesful at my spawn other night after driving to nme base and back.

It was worse for me i had to listen to it on squad vox ;)
