Two American pilots in a POW camp in North Korea.

"Hey, John, were you shot down by Russian or Korean pilot?"
"Definetly by Russian, he was very skilled. And what about you, Jack?"
"What a shame, I was shot down by a Korean!"
"How did you know?"
"I heard their radio talk, he told his wingman 'Boris, cover, I Fa Kim Ap'"
"And then?"
"That Fa Kim Ap shot me down..."

Just couldn't think of a better translation of the MiG pilot name. In Russian it sounds:

"On po radio govoril: 'Boris, prikroy, ya huynu!"
"Nu i chto?"
"Vot etot Huy Nu menya i sbil..."

It is an old joke about Vietnam war, but I think that in English that name sounds more like a Korean...

Well Boroda seems you finally lightened up !

You are even telling jokes..I DID laugh at that joke and did not start rambling about your lack of respect for the suffering of the US pilots tortured at the Hanoi Hilton...
(I did check my calendar and it looks like war is over between us- looks like you had relatives in Nam. I had too on the other side...)

Since we are telling horrible jokes,
I've got a nasty anti-french joke for you too :

Do you know why there are trees along the
Champs-Elysees in downtown Paris ?

So that German troops can march in the shade ...

Spookey how dare you, my grandfather planted those trees so it would reflect the beauty of Paris!!  I am outraged at this joke and seek legal action and war restitution for my pain and suffering.

Ok just kidding, kind of funny how people can't take jokes or blow them out of porportion.  I still remember the Space shuttle jokes from when I was in 6th grade.

Where did Christa McCallagh <--Spl? go for vacation?

All over Florida.  Ouch

Waiting for the PC police on this one lol

heh heh...I remember those jokes too.

I was in 7th grade watching it live on tv in the library during my lunch hour.  Was quite an experience seeing that thing explode and wondering what the hell just happened.  It was almost like it wasnt real at all.  Of course it didnt take long for the jokes to start circulating.
