OK,

Thinking of putting together a mediacenter with a 120" projector in my new living room.  I have and love Tivo but would like a HiDef solution too.  Ideally, I would build a PC in which to play games, movies etc on the main screen.  Any pointers?

Just got myself a 44" lcd TV, details said that I could go up to 1600/1200 resolution, and I have a DVI plug in it... I was planning to hook up the puter to it and try gaming on that... still have to buy the propper furniture, because as it is now... i'd be blind within a week sitting so close to that monitor.

If it looks good, i might even buy a joystick, and play AH again :)

there has got to be a HD multimedia setup that works like my good ole Tivo.  42"?  bah.. my lil tv is a 65 but I guess 42 would be OK for a small bedroom..>  My living room is now 30x 36 ft so I need something that won't get lost in there.
