I found this at the Imperial Iranian Air Force`s website

Drawing of IIAF F-16A over Yazd

IIAF purchases 160 F-16A on October 27th 1976 with follow up order of additional 140, A total of 300 aircraft. Parts and maintenance equipment has arrived in Iran as early as 1978 and ground personnel had been given training, (Ground support equipment was later sold to Pakistan). However, new Government cancelled the order in 1979 before the schedule arrival of the first two F-16, later this cancellation effected the unit cost of each aircraft to a much higher price tag. But General Dynamics found a new buyer for Iranian
F-16's, which was Israel's air force.

If it`s never entered service why is it on the site? Just to highlite ISRAEL bought them to bomb innocent muslims with.

I find that text perfectly aseptic and neutral. Just an account of straight facts devoid of any detectable bias or slant... Typical military history stuff. So the Shah bought the planes, Khomeini didn't want them and the Israelis picked them up... well, nice to know. Couldn't tell where it comes f I had seen it by itself.

If you are so thin skinned about real or perceived attacks on Judaism, pray tell, why on Earth are you using that alias and avatar !?!

Anyone else seen the sweet new Israeli F16-I? Extra range internal fuel + electronic package extended up top.

A couple of months ago, I was next to the the desert, talking to a religious man about Avraham, a when an Israeli F16 did a sweet little aileron roll above me. Nice :aok

Desert Camo + F16 = very nice. Hard to see in the haze though

Yup I've actually worked on one.  I don't know how they are performance wise but they look like a viper on steroids with the blocked back bone and conformal fuel tanks.
