Does installing Fraps on my PC slow my gameplay or cause warping even if I'm not recording? It seems that way.

Thanks

As long as it's not running it shouldn't do anything to your PC.
Even if it seems certain that you will lose, retaliate. Neither wisdom nor technique has a place in this. A real man does not think of victory or defeat. He plunges recklessly towards an irrational death. By doing this, you will awaken from your dreams.

Yep.

If you have it running in the background, itlll slow your system. Shut it off and only run it when you want to record anything. Uncheck the 'run fraps when windows starts' box in General options.

PS: recording directly off AH game doesnt work for the very same reason.

PPS: Make sure if you record youve unchecked the 'record sound' box. This will only clog ressources and sound horrible, producing unnecccessarily huge avis.
