Ok my computer died and I bought a pci-express mother board by mistake. Now I got to get a pci-express video card for around $200 +- $50. choices look like either the "GeForce 6800XT 256MB or Sapphire RADEON X800 Pro 256MB GDDR3." I have always used ATI so I know there website when it comes to new drivers. Nvidia seems to be made by all different kinds of places. Any help would be good.

Don't know if this will help, but, bought a NVidia BFG 7800 GT OC last week. Had it in my comp 2 hours. Liked my ATI better. Both PCI, both 256 mb. ATI just performed better in my machine. Will sell the 7800 to you for $250, if that will help, let me know. About a $400 +/- card.

i personally prefer ATI but recommend goin with the 7800 (just compare to the best ATI has right now) or wait for the next gen. of ATI cards. they're probably not too far off
